Electrical Engineering Manager

Our client, a leading electric and hydrogen bus company is currently looking to hire an Electrical Engineering Manager. The successful candidate will support all key tasks related with the effective management of a highly skilled, professional engineering team responsible for electrical engineering within the organisation.

The Electrical Engineering Manager will:

• Manage testing activities for New Product Development (NPD) and production contracts.
• Ensure new vehicles meet market, customer, and development specifications, legislation, safety standards, and quality standards.
• Identify and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), produce monthly report.
• Ensure compliance with company Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Liaise with production for design optimization and New Product Introductions (NPI).
• Ensure work meets ISO 9001 standards.

The Electrical Engineering Manager will have:

• Honours Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years of engineering experience in a resource planning manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisor experience.
• Proven experience in engineering processes and systems.
• Proficiency in dedicated electrical design software (e.g., Zuken E3).
• Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, able to handle multiple deadlines.
