Procurement Administrator

The Procurement Administrator will play a vital role in supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring purchasing activities, supplier communications and material availability are managed efficiently and accurately. Acting as the link between Procurement and Production, you will help ensure components are ordered, tracked and delivered on time, giving production teams the visibility they need to plan and operate effectively.

The Procurement Administrator will:

• Raise, manage and maintain purchase orders in line with production requirements.
• Process purchasing requirements generated through the MRP system.
• Obtain quotations and progress orders with approved suppliers.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance and maintain accurate ETA information.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, MRP data and supplier information.
• Conduct regular missing-parts reviews and drive actions to resolve shortages.
• Manage Kanban and manual ordering activities while supporting MRP system improvements.

The Procurement Administrator will have:

• Previous experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain Administration or a similar role.
• Experience creating and managing purchase orders.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• A proactive approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow actions through to completion.
• Experience working closely with Production, Stores or Manufacturing teams.
