Chief Scientist

Our client is currently looking for a Chief Scientist. The successful candidate will lead the technical team in developing and implementing groundbreaking solutions for battery cell manufacturing.

The Chief Scientist will:

• Oversee the development of the R&D department, ensuring the timely and successful execution of research projects including specification of laboratory / test facility requirements.
• Provide strategic technical leadership in the development of advanced battery cell technologies.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with industry leaders, research institutions, and suppliers.
• Lead the product development lifecycle, from concept to production, ensuring quality and performance standards are met.
• Drive the research, design, and implementation of innovative solutions to enhance performance, efficiency, and sustainability.

The Chief Scientist will have:

• Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of battery chemistry, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Extensive experience in R&D and product development within the energy storage industry.
• Proven track record of leadership in battery cell technology and manufacturing.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
