Founded in 1898 by James Lansdowne Norton, Norton Motorcycles is an iconic British motorcycle brand renowned for its legacy of performance, craftsmanship, and innovation. For over 125 years, Norton has set benchmarks in motorcycle design, engineering, and racing excellence.

In April 2020, Norton entered an exciting new chapter when it was acquired by TVS Motor Company, a global leader in two-wheeler manufacturing. This partnership marked the resurgence of Norton, combining its British heritage with world-class resources and innovation.

In 2021, Norton unveiled its state-of-the-art global headquarters in Solihull, West Midlands. The facility represents the brand’s commitment to modern luxury, boasting cutting-edge manufacturing capabilities, a design centre, and a research & development hub that drive Norton’s future forward.



Company size

Norton is firmly focused on innovation and expansion, particularly in the electric motorcycle sector. Location

Norton Motorcycles’ global headquarters is in Solihull, West Midlands, right in the centre of the UK’s automotive and engineering industry. The site offers a state-of-the-art workplace that reflects Norton’s ethos of modern luxury and their commitment to excellence.

They also operate a Commercial Hub in Marylebone, London, focused on Sales, Aftersales and Marketing.

Looking ahead, Norton Motorcycles plans to expand further into Europe and North America.
