A provider of engineering and digital services focusing on identifying and deploying technologies and solutions for its clients is looking to hire a Battery System Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for BMS design & development, define test & validation requirements for different markets and verify them.

 

The Battery System Engineer will:


  • Responsible for BMS design & development, define test & validation requirements for different markets and verify them. Specific focus on the management of battery systems integration.
  • You will provide technical expertise in BMS and HV Battery.
  • Driving the development of our battery management systems for automotive and industrial applications in dedicated projects.
  • Review supplier analysis of hardware design, such as WCCA (Worst Case Circuit Analysis) and DFMEA.
  • Lead the BMS discussions to deliver robust fault free designs through the application of Concurrent Engineering disciplines including DFMEA, DFA, DFM, Campaign Prevention Process, Robustness.
  • Work with Controls/Software Engineers and Vehicle System Engineers in the development of the requirements for BMS.
  • Lead the design and development of the BMS functions.
  • Validate that all products meet the specification requirements and project targets through a documented DVP.

 

The Battery System Engineer will have:

  • Degree in Electronics/Electrical, Mechatronics, Software or Automotive Engineering.
  • Working experience with Standards like ECE R100, ISO 26262, ISO 16949, LV 123 and GBT.
  • Documentation of DFMEA, DVP, Timing Plans, Minutes and Actions of Meetings.
  • Experience using DOORS Systems or any other platform to manage system/components requirements.
  • Expertise in automotive toolchains including Diagnostic Tools, Vector Tools, CANalyzer and CANoe etc.
  • Expertise in communication protocols such as CAN/LIN/Flexray etc.
  • Strong understanding of Vehicle system elements (VCU, OBD and PDU etc.)
  • Experience with EE Architecture and the thermal management (component/system).
