Project Manager

A pioneering battery R&D company are currently seeking a Project Manager to lead several cross-functional projects from cradle to grave. The company are developing alternative battery materials enabling greater energy density for applications such as automotive, off highway, marine and stationary energy storage.

Project Manager Duties:

• Co-ordinating and controlling projects from concept to post-production launch ensuring delivery to timing deadlines, cost and quality.
• Define customer specifications and anticipate project risks while identifying and establishing corrective actions.
• Create and maintain project timing plans and reporting to relevant stakeholders internally and externally where necessary.
• Plan and track project requirements and resources using Gantt charts.
• Calculate and compile project deliverables data by preparing presentable reports for key stakeholders

The Successful Project Manager Will Have:

• A Degree within Engineering or related field.
• Demonstrable experience within a customer-facing Project Management role delivering projects internationally.
• 5 + years’ experience within manufacturing environments – experience within the battery industry or automotive electrification is strongly desirable.
• A strong knowledge of MS Projects.
• Ability to present data clearly and effectively with excellent communication skills
• PRINCE2 foundation is desired but not essential.
