As a Technical Specialist - HVAC, you will be responsible for specifying, selecting, and integrating HVAC components and systems into new and existing vehicle designs. You'll lead technical assessments, validate solutions, and ensure compliance with performance objectives while collaborating closely with suppliers, manufacturing teams, and internal stakeholders.

The Technical Specialist - HVAC will:

• Specify, select, and integrate HVAC components and systems into vehicle designs, ensuring all technical aspects are validated.
• Undertake technical assessments and recommend optimal solutions that meet system and overall vehicle requirements.
• Collaborate with suppliers and partners to ensure seamless integration of components and sub-systems.
• Coordinate with assembly and manufacturing teams to ensure HVAC designs are clearly defined and controlled.
• Manage verification and validation plans to ensure compliance with specified requirements.
• Support prototype builds, testing, and product sign-off for new vehicle programs.

The Technical Specialist - HVAC will have:

• HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent qualification).
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in vehicle systems design, including HVAC integration.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics and flow analysis.
• Ability to create P&ID diagrams and produce detailed engineering reports.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD tools and knowledge of PDM systems.
