This role is critical in ensuring robust validation aligned with customer requirements and industry standards, while identifying and mitigating system-level risks early in the development cycle.

The System Development and Validation Manager will:

  • Define, schedule, and manage development and validation programs for MGU and MCU systems.
  • Ensure alignment of test activities with customer validation cycles, industry standards, and internal technical targets.
  • Develop test matrices covering functional performance, durability, environmental, and safety requirements.
  • Assess internal and external test facilities for capability across mechanical, electrical, thermal, and environmental domains.
  • Specify, procure, and maintain specialist test rigs, instrumentation, and software tools.
  • Coordinate cross-functional input from Controls, Design, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
  • Lead root cause investigations and validate design or software changes through targeted test programs.

The System Development and Validation Manager will have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering (or related discipline).
  • 7+ years’ experience in development and validation of high-performance electric drive systems or similar.
  • Strong understanding of MGU and MCU systems across thermal, electrical, mechanical, and controls domains.
  • Experience in test program management and cross-functional engineering leadership.
  • Knowledge of functional safety principles (ISO 26262) is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and project management skills.
  • Analytical, pragmatic, and adaptable in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

This is an opportunity to make a real impact in a forward-thinking engineering environment. You’ll be part of a team that values technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
