A leading automotive manufacturing company that specializes in producing high performance vehicles is currently looking to hire a Production Manager. The successful candidate will shape and manage a new production facility from day one, overseeing all aspects of vehicle build, team leadership, and continuous improvement.

The Production Manager will:

• Lead the setup and commissioning of the new production facility, including layout planning, equipment specification, and process development.
• Build, mentor, and manage a multi-skilled team of technicians, supervisors, and support staff.
• Implement and continuously improve production systems, SOPs, and safety practices.
• Oversee and manage all vehicle production activities, ensuring high-quality builds delivered on time and to spec.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality, efficiency, cost, and output.

The Production Manager will have:

• Proven experience in a production leadership role, ideally within automotive, motorsport, aerospace or a low volume/high-performance engineering environment.
• Familiarity with HSE Legislation
• High complexity, high value Electromechanical assembly experience at low volume
• Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 or other quality systems.
• Knowledge of production systems, lean manufacturing principles, and quality management.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented approach with the ability to adapt quickly to change
