Senior Engineer - Civil Engineering

We are currently looking for a Senior Engineer – Civil Engineering for our client, a multi-disciplinary engineering practice with a passion for excellence, innovation, and environmental sustainability. The successful candidate will operate as part of a wider project team and will represent the company with confidence to a variety of clients.

The Senior Engineer – Civil Engineering will:

• Provide technical expertise and design leadership for estate infrastructure, roads, and drainage projects across automotive, commercial, industrial, retail, education, and residential sectors.
• Oversee and secure technical approvals for schemes under Section (S)38, S104, and S278 applications.
• Conduct flood risk assessments and develop drainage strategies to meet client and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare detailed designs, reports, and drawings using AutoCAD and Causeway Flow, while expanding expertise in PDS and Civil 3D software as needed.
• Contribute innovative ideas and add value to projects while maintaining high standards of accuracy and detail.

The Senior Engineer – Civil Engineering will have:

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years post-graduate design experience.
• Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).
• Extensive experience in estate infrastructure, roads, and drainage design, including obtaining technical approvals under S38, S104, and S278.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Causeway Flow; familiarity with PDS and Civil 3D software is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to present confidently to clients and external organizations.
• A self-motivated and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to manage and coordinate work independently and as part of a team.
