Head of Programme Management (Battery)

Our client, a leading organisation focusing on battery cell research and manufacturing is currently seeking a Head of Programme Management to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of revenue-generating projects and customer campaigns on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards and agreed customer specifications.

The Head of Programme Management will:

• Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of programmes related to battery technology development, manufacturing, and industrialisation.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence to timelines and resource allocations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to drive collaboration and alignment towards project goals.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact project delivery.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial objectives are met.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and health & safety requirements.

The Head of Programme Management will have:

• Degree in engineering, business administration, project management, or related field.
• Proven experience in programme management, preferably in the battery, automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, or energy sectors.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams towards common objectives
• A successful track record of managing warranty and contract liability issues.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
