A world-renowned luxury automotive brand that has been crafting iconic, high-performance vehicles for over a century is currently seeking a Project Engineer – Infotainment. The successful candidate will lead all discussions on Infotainment features, lead resolution of complex problems during development and overall project life cycle. Own and be responsible for feature definition & ownership, Component ownership and delivery responsible for infotainment components.

The Project Engineer – Infotainment will:

• Work with component & feature owners to define the diagnostic concept for manufacturing end of line routines & service diagnostics.
• Lead DFMEA and DVP creation for responsible components.
• Support Cyber Security related tasks at the concept and system level, including item definition, definition of security goals.
• Deliver the Programme quality, cost, weight, function, and timing requirements for the systems and features you are responsible for.
• Support functional safety related tasks at the concept and system level, including item definition, HARA, definition of safety goals, impact analysis etc.

The Project Engineer – Infotainment will have:

• Extensive knowledge of the manufacturing processes to create the components or systems.
• Electrical engineering degree.
• Excellent technical engineering background and a comprehensive knowledge of using calculation and analysis to drive design.
• Proven record of delivering Electrical or Electronics commodities, including quality, cost, function, weight, and timing. Experience of vehicle level system integration in terms of hardware and Software). Experience of software development processes and managing software delivery.
• Experience of managing ASIL A / ASIL B ECU’s.
• Experience of defining and delivering infotainment systems, Navigation, Bluetooth and Media devices, Tuner, and Infotainment HMI. Delivery experience on Infotainment OS system (windows, Linux, QNX, etc.).
