A world-renowned luxury automotive brand that has been crafting iconic, high-performance vehicles for over a century is currently seeking a Data Engineer Architecture & Platform Implementation. The successful candidate will define, prototype, and implement AI enabling data modelling and data architecture. Lead and hands-on implement the defined solutions to enable AI within the organisation.

The Data Engineer Architecture & Platform Implementation will:

• Design and implement an efficient and reliable data platform for ingestion, storage, management, and processing of data for AI purposes.
• Build and/or setup technical systems and infrastructure to ingest, store, manage and process large amounts of data.
• Design and implement digital solutions and services to provide data for AI purposes (pipelines)
• Maintain and further develop the data model and technical architecture over time.
• Ensure that data model and architecture are aligned with existing and future business needs.

The Data Engineer Architecture & Platform Implementation will have:

• Good knowledge about principal application of AI.
• Software development and data engineering related education.
• Extensive knowledge of data ingestion, storage, processing, and pipelining.
• Excellent understanding of data pipelines and automation.
• Proven record of delivering complex data engineering projects.
• Excellent written communication skills for report writing & concerns raising. Able to verbally communicate at all levels.
