Our client, a fast-growing technology and engineering services business providing innovative solutions for future mobility needs, focusing on electrification and light-weighting is currently looking to hire a Senior Electronics Engineer.  The successful candidate will focus on electronics development and validation for complex safety related projects across Battery Management Systems and Vehicle Control Modules, in support of the organisation’s strategic electrification & decarbonisation projects.

The Senior Electronics Engineer will:

• Conduct circuit design and analysis with PCB design guidance, DFM, ICD generation.
• Integrate and test – Board brings up, design verification and EMC /ENV test support and development of test infrastructure including test firmware development.
• Manage technical risks through design innovation and the appropriate application of engineering process management.
• Support the introduction and continuous improvement of engineering processes to aid effective development and verification activities.
• Plan tasks and manage resources effectively to ensure that activities are completed efficiently and within project constraints.

The Senior Electronics Engineer will have:

• An engineering qualification (e.g. Degree) in Electronic Engineering or similar subject, or equivalent training and experience within an engineering design environment.
• Experience in development of complex safety related electronic systems involving both hardware and firmware development.
• Previous significant hardware development and verification experience across multiple projects.
• Full lifecycle product development experience in a rigorously controlled sector such as Automotive/Aerospace/Defence is desirable.
• Hands on design verification, formal verification workflow, and practical debugging experience is desirable.
