Senior Software Integration Engineer

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Integration Engineer to join our client’s team, a world-renowned luxury car manufacturer. The successful candidate will ensure all commodity functions and features across complex systems are delivered and implemented with respect to full vehicle electrical architecture and programme deadlines across all build phases.

The Senior Software Integration Engineer will:

• Work collaboratively with Electrical Architecture & Commodity Teams to implement new / existing features.
• Drive issue resolution and where required support the technical implementation of mitigation plans with module owners.
• Manage smaller special projects, working with key stakeholders to deliver against tight timelines.
• Represent EE Integration in engineering and technical reviews and escalation forums.

The Senior Software Integration Engineer will have:

• Knowledge of issue management systems like eTrackers, Concerns, JIRA etc.
• Appropriate engineering degree or relevant experience.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (such as CAPL, VBA, Python).
• Experience of automotive pre-production build environments: manufacturing processes, car configuration (feature coding), VCATS implementation.
• Understanding of ODX (ISO 22901).
• Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics standards (UDS, ISO 14229, DOIP) and diagnostic tools.
• Experience of automotive architectures and communication protocols like CAN, LIN, Flexray, Ethernet.
