A leading manufacturer of flexible solutions (including cell contacting systems) designed for battery modules in electric vehicle manufacturing is looking for a Plant Launch Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the successful launch of new manufacturing plants or production lines.

The Plant Launch Engineer will:

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and work instructions to ensure consistent and efficient production.
• Monitor project progress and performance metrics to track milestones, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to select and procure equipment, tooling, and materials that meet quality standards and production requirements.
• Lead the planning and execution of plant launches for new manufacturing facilities or production lines, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.
• Coordinate site selection, facility layout, equipment procurement, and installation activities to support plant launch objectives.

The Plant Launch Engineer will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in engineering, project management, or manufacturing leadership roles within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement techniques.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including assembly, machining, and finishing operations.
