We are currently looking for a Project Engineer Emissions for our client, a luxury British car manufacturer known for producing high-performance sports cars. The successful candidate will drive the development of calibration systems for the powertrain across the vehicle.

The Project Engineer Emissions will:

• Ensure that calibrations are delivered in line with system design specifications whilst creating tools for rapid calibrations techniques and identifying new strategies to meet system requirements.
• Take ownership and make a tangible impact.
• Prepare project plans and reports to ensure that there is accurate data to deliver and present to stakeholders to all levels up to director technical meetings.
• Deal with complex challenges and be responsible for finding effective solutions.

The Project Engineer Emissions will have:

• Significant experience of OEM or Consultancy background.
• Experience in system architecture definition, and system integration for automotive applications.
• Understanding of Chassis and driveline systems and actuators, as well as their integration and validation.
• Experience with automotive tools for testing, data logging, feature calibration and issue investigation (such as Vector CAN-based tools, ETAS INCA etc.)
• Good experience of application of new technologies including Hybrid & BEV vehicles.
