An iconic luxury British sports car manufacturer has an exciting opportunity for a Motion Control SW Integration Lead. The successful candidate will develop the Vehicle Motion Control system and its integration with Chassis, Stability, ADAS, Powertrain and HV systems, covering a variety of engineering tasks, including definition of requirements and targets, development of control strategies, and testing.

The Motion Control SW Integration Lead will:

• Lead the design of control strategies for Longitudinal and Lateral Dynamic Control, managing interactions with other vehicle systems.
• Support the team with Functional Safety activities according to ISO26262 and Failure Mode Analysis as required.
• Ensure system compliance with applicable regulation / homologation requirements.
• Liaise with external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of software and relevant documentation and achieve Software team goals.
• Support system validation and verification, support testing activities on vehicle, bench, SIL, HIL and other test properties.

The Motion Control SW Integration Lead will have:

• Degree level in Electrical / Systems / Software Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with Functional Safety (ISO2626) software processes.
• Strong automotive and vehicle dynamics engineering background, ideally within an automotive vehicle manufacturer, supplier, or consultancy, developing or integrating automotive systems related to Chassis, Powertrain, Stability, HV, ADAS or similar.
• Experience with automotive tools for testing, data logging, feature calibration and issue investigation (such as Vector CAN-based tools, ETAS INCA etc.)
• Practical experience of EV and hybrid platforms.
• Experience with the Mathworks toolchain (e.g., Matlab, Simulink)
