Our client, a global battery business, scaling up to design, develop, and manufacture high-quality, high-performance, sustainable batteries is hiring a Systems Engineering Lead . The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in defining and managing the system requirements for battery modules and packs in both EV and other energy storage systems.

The Systems Engineering Lead  will:

• Maintain comprehensive and organised documentation of system requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and implement verification and validation plans to ensure that system requirements are met and validated through testing and analysis.
• Create detailed requirement specifications, including functional, non-functional, and performance requirements.
• Ensure that system requirements align with industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and internal quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, testing, and quality assurance teams to ensure that system requirements are understood and effectively implemented.

The Systems Engineering Lead  will have:

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in requirement management tools (e.g., Jira, DOORS, Jama Connect).
• Proven experience in system requirements engineering, preferably in the battery or energy storage industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
