Senior Simulink Engineer

An Automotive company focusing on the design and build of prototype and low volume high energy density lithium battery packs is now looking for a Senior Simulink Engineer. The successful candidate will support activities throughout the product development lifecycle.

The Senior Simulink Engineer will:

• Lead the development of Simulink models for automotive Battery Management Systems (BMS) and other Electric Vehicle (EV) applications.
• Manage schedules and testing of daily software builds.
• Assist with requirements capture, development, architecture design, and application software development for current and future products.
• Manage multiple assigned tasks and provide succinct progress reports to management.
• Support software debugging and fault resolution on test systems as well as vehicles.

The Senior Simulink Engineer will have:

• Automotive experience, including HV applications and ISO26262.
• Battery Management System (BMS) development.
• Understanding of the development lifecycle for a safety-critical application.
• MATLAB/Simulink development.
• Ability to take a hands-on, methodical, approach to test, fault finding and commissioning of systems.
