Packaging & Routing Engineer

Our client, a developer of electrical vehicles who brings real engagement and emotion to driving electric performance cars is currently looking to hire a Packaging and Routing Engineer.

The Packaging and Routing Engineer will:

• Develop detailed vehicle package at whole vehicle and package zone level – particularly LV Electrical harness routing, packaging & designing brackets for components e.g., electrical boxes & brake/hydraulic line routing.
• Liaise with other team departments, engineers, and team members to ensure parts are fit for purpose.
• Read Electrical Schematics and convert into 3D Drawings & Mechanical requirements.
• Create and manage DFMEA and DVP&R documents relating to the parts.
• Manage part cost(s), mass, and timing.

The Packaging and Routing Engineer will have:

• 2 years industry experience at an aerospace, automotive or motorsport company.
• Relevant engineering degree qualification.
• Experience in conflict resolution for complex problems.
• Previous experience developing vehicle packaging solutions to tight constraints.
