Electrical Engineer

A leading specialist in the design, build, financing, and operation of EV solar car parks is currently hiring an Electrical Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and compliant building and delivery of combined Solar PV/EVCP/BESS technologies including site survey, deployment, installation, and O&M.

The Electrical Engineer will:

• Contribute to the ongoing technical design and development of our combined Solar/EVCP/BESS technologies.
• Work with local DNO’s as part of client site evaluations and connections.
• Oversee and co-ordinate the technology build process including managing materials and equipment ordering and lead times.
• Conduct detailed site surveys and interpreting drawings and written word to scope and maintain project deliverables.
• Prepare procurement specifications for the purchase of materials and equipment and/or project staff and external consultants.

The Electrical Engineer will have:

• Minimum 10 years electrical experience within the commercial and industrial sectors.
• Experience of Commercial Solar PV & EV Charge Points.
• IT literate including proficiency with Office 365 and proprietary electrical design software (Amtech)
• Electrical apprenticeship, be fully qualified to BS7671 18th Edition and have a proven track record in the Commercial & Industrial Electrical sector with a good eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills with a proven track record of team building & leadership.
• Experience in managing external contractors and other third-party stakeholders.
