Electrical Technician

We are currently looking for an Electrical Technician for our client, a technology company that creates brand new electric cars. The successful candidate will be involved with assembly of electrical, electronic, and mechanical module assemblies and reworks, ensuring they are manufactured to automotive quality standards.

The Electrical Technician will:

• Participate in the build process of prototype electrical harnesses and components to the correct specification and test procedures.
• Identify faults and report them accordingly.
• Take part in problem solving activities on prototype vehicles.
• Ensure all departmental paperwork & procedures are adhered to.
• Ensure all equipment are handled in a safe & careful manner to prevent damage to personnel & property.

The Electrical Technician will have:

• Relevant Manufacturing/Engineering City & Guilds level 3, BTEC National Diploma Level 3, IVQ Technician Diploma, or equivalent NVQ level 3 qualification.
• Relevant industry experience i.e., Automotive or Motorsport.
• Competent in Microsoft Office and applications.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and good time keeping.
