An engineering consultancy, delivering services and products to multiple industrial sectors is currently seeking a HR Manager. The successful candidate will support the business in people-related processes and define vision and strategy across the company, aligned with the law.

The HR Manager will:

• Lead the HR department with various human resource management related business matters.
• Handle HR matters in accordance with legal requirements, in a pragmatic and diligent manner including investigations, grievances and disciplinaries.
• Manage staff relationships, responding to any queries or problems that they have and managing their expectations.
• Inform employees of their rights and keeping them up to date on any changes that are made to legislation affecting their entitlements.
• Coach and equip line managers with the skills to lead and motivate their teams to deliver world class levels of performance and commitment.

The HR Manager will have:

• Ability to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with staff, stakeholders, and suppliers.
• Degree level qualifications in a related HR discipline or demonstrable industry experience level.
• Proven work experience as an HR manager, preferably within the engineering industry.
• CIPD qualification with an excellent understanding of HR policy and legislation.
• Good organisational and administrative skills.
• Strong collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and achieve set targets.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
