We are currently looking for a Procurement Business Office Manager to join a leading manufacturer of zero-emission medium-duty trucks. The successful candidate will focus on delivering best in class processes resulting in a first-class user experience for the partners and customers, as well as focusing on continually improving Procurement processes as the organisation grows.
  
The Procurement Business Office Manager will:
  • Take ownership for defining, documenting, and implementing the target business processes for the Procurement function.
  • Act as the focus point with the Procurement function for business process mapping and improvement initiatives.
  • Document process pain points and areas for improvement.
  • Support IT in creating requirements and a transformation map for the Procurement function.
  • Act as product owner, steering technology teams with decisions on business requirements and the definition of use cases that support the Procurement function’s requirements.
  • Defines use cases, acceptance criteria and test conditions for the systems transformation map.
  • Own the purchasing document archive.
  • Own the supplier on boarding and due diligence process including CSR requirements.
  
The Procurement Business Office Manager will have:
  
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in a Procurement, Engineering, or IT discipline, or equivalent through experience.
  • Experience being the face of Procurement in a Programme context and ensuring buy-in to Programme deliverables and systems within the Procurement function.
  • Experience in identifying and structuring best practice processes and ways of working with purchasing.
  • Business process improvement or operational transformation experience.
  • Self-starter, with excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
  • Process driven and passionate about automation and the efficiency/effectiveness of the company and the staff.
  • Goal-oriented, organized team player and leader.
  • Detailed, focused, and happy working in a diverse, fast-paced environment.
  • Interpersonal skills with a highly motivated team ethic.
