A leader in electrified HGV technology is currently seeking a Battery Development Engineer responsible for designing, creating and testing new automotive products. This role will require an experienced individual who is looking to join a growing company and thus has ambitions of rapid personal development.

The Battery Development Engineer Duties:

• Develop electric vehicle battery pack controllers, software and diagnostics.
• Conduct software and battery bench tests
• Guarantee software and technical diagnostics solutions are validated
• Support software development and failure root cause analysis activities for the complete battery system.
• Develop and Improved software, diagnostics execution and implementation as well as standard methodologies.
• Implement root cause and problem resolution for full vehicle or component development issues.
• Work with component release team and software engineers to develop, execute and integrate Battery Electronics module diagnostics.

The Successful Battery Development Engineer Will Have:

• Degree qualified in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or similar discipline
• Demonstratable experience in design, development, validation and release of automotive electrical/electronic components
• Strong understanding of automotive battery systems
• High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult
• Understanding of engineering theory and principles of operation of electronics.
• Experience in electrical analysis, circuit board design and development.
