A leading commercial electric vehicle company and developer of modular electrification systems is currently looking for a Graduate Engineer to support the development and growth of the company. You will get involved in all aspects of Programme Technology from concept through to volume manufacturing. This will cover everything from Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Software and Systems. You will have a very broad role initially where you will have the opportunity to get involved in many aspects of the vehicle.  After the graduate scheme you will have a choice of areas to then specialize in.

Graduate Engineer Duties:

• Instrumentation setup and perform testing at component, sub system, system and vehicle level
• Develop functional operating strategies
• Support REX Prototype integration Tasks
• Attend various meetings and action/communicate instructions
• Undertake continuous training and development
• Download data into Excel, assessing patterns / errors.
• Data modelling and producing reports
• Keep up with current and developing manufacturing and engineering trends
• Undertake special projects as required
• Work to a project systems V
• Produce 8D's
• Attend and participate in customer meetings when required

The Successful Graduate Engineer Will Have:

• Relevant mechanical/ motorsport/ mechatronic/ automotive engineering degree
• Knowledge of Matlab/ Solidworks would be advantageous
• A knowledge of automotive products and processes such as EV Systems, Hydrogen, Motors, Power Electronics or Powertrain would be advantageous
• Computer literate, especially Excel skills and able to analyse data
• The ability to work independently and is reviewed infrequently with minimal supervision
• Self-supervising within the guidance and expectations of divisional management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work cross functionally and collaboratively with many stakeholders
