IT Manager

A leader in electrified HGV technology is currently seeking an IT Manager to manage the implementation of an ERP platform to support manufacturing execution a high level of product and process data acquisition from the process environment to support a high level of product traceability. The ERP application will also have a high level of integration with the business PLM platform.

IT Manager Duties:

• MS supporting tools and technologies such as Active Directory, Azure, SharePoint administration, MS Teams
• End to end overview of the IT infrastructure environment – ISP, Firewalls, Server and storage including virtualisation platform
• Knowledge of the functional aspects and structure of a CISCO based corporate network environment (wired and wireless)
• Overview of end user infrastructure and tools (Laptops, desktops, print services)
• Good overall understanding of the “Microsoft modern workplace” environment
• A detailed understanding of the business structure, functionality, processes and interactions utilising an ERP platform (Enterprise resource planning) and MES (Manufacturing execution system) and associated interfaces to business and external platforms (examples – PLM integration, HMRC connectivity)

The Successful IT Manager Will Have:

• Ability to work at a technical and business functional level and to be able to provide an interface between the two
• Detailed understanding of IT processes as recognised by an ITIL qualification (or alternative knowledge) – change, incident and problem management.
• Detailed understanding and experience in a service delivery management role or environment
• Previous experience implementing an ERP platform.
