Nathan Sharp

Nathan holds an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Surrey and gained Chartered Engineer status in 2015.

Starting his career in powertrain consulting 12 years ago, focusing on high performance applications. With most projects being hybrid in nature, Nathan also developed knowledge of EV electrification.

In 2018 Nathan became heavily involved in high-performance battery design. He then joined a Spanish Battery startup as Commercial Manager and the first UK employee. In this capacity, he made a key contribution to expanding the business fourfold to over 100 people and setting up a battery pack manufacturing facility with an annual production capacity of 250MWh.

Nathan joined EVera knowing that his electrification engineering background puts him in a strong position to support EVera’s UK clients with their recruitment needs in this field.

Outside work Nathan enjoys offshore yacht racing, having completed the Fastnet race in 2021. He also enjoys cycling, mountaineering, rock/ice climbing, skiing, playing guitar and attending motorsport events…when time permits.
