Matt Gilbert

Matt commenced his career in automotive recruitment in 2014, where he successfully recruited across a diverse range of skills. In his initial role in automotive recruitment, Matt collaborated with prominent OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in the automotive industry. His responsibilities included sourcing talent for critical areas such as electrical, software development, ADAS, manufacturing, and various other aspects of vehicle development.

After gaining years of experience in the car industry, Matt became highly skilled in electric and hybrid vehicles. He focuses on finding and hiring people with key skills needed for developing these vehicles, including expertise in power electronics, BMS, and electrical systems engineering.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys CrossFit and going to the gym. He is also an Aston Villa fan and loves spending time with his young family.
