About Nitron
Nitron Racing Systems Ltd (Nitron Suspension) has been at the forefront of motorsport suspension technology since 1998, when engineer Guy Evans founded the company in Black Bourton, Oxfordshire. Guy remains CEO today, and Nitron designs, develops and manufactures high-performance suspension for cars and motorcycles from its base in Witney, in the heart of the UK's Motorsport Valley.
Nitron is now a globally recognised name, with more than 200 dealers across Europe, Asia, the US, Australasia and Africa, over 1,000 products and a team of 50+. The company supplies suspension directly to vehicle manufacturers including MINI, Lotus Cars, Nissan, Elemental Cars and Morgan Motor Company, and has supplied packages for race series such as MINI Challenge, Lotus, Kawasaki and Triumph.
Technology and USP
Every Nitron shock is hand-built using precision components, each put through a rigorous design and development programme before it reaches production. The unique modular system gives Nitron flexibility during the development of every application and makes each product 100% serviceable, so a factory service returns a unit to as-new technical condition rather than simply replacing it. That build quality underpins a 5-year limited warranty on shocks, provided regular service intervals are maintained.
The product range spans shocks, fork cartridge kits and adventure kits, alongside the elec-TRON range unveiled in 2024, springs and accessories, with new kits released regularly for models such as the Triumph Trident 800, Yamaha XSR900 and Ténéré 700 World Raid. Capability runs from research and development and prototypes through to full OEM-scale production, supported in-house by dynamometers, 5-axis CNC machines and the latest 3D CAD techniques.

What is it like to work there?
Nitron is a hands-on engineering business. The design team's combined experience spans machining, materials technology, hydraulics, bike engineering and F1, and many have competitive driving and riding experience of their own. Every shock is hand built on-site, and the company keeps close to its customers, from a steady run of new-model releases to events such as its Lotus Drivers Club cars and coffee morning.
