The Goods Inwards Technician will:

• Inspect and verify incoming materials against drawings, specifications, and purchase orders.
• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional checks using appropriate tools.
• Review and maintain supplier documentation, including certificates and test reports.
• Identify and document non-conforming materials; raise NCRs where required.
• Maintain accurate inspection records within the quality management system.
• Support supplier investigations and corrective actions to improve performance.

The Goods Inwards Technician will have:

• Previous experience in quality inspection or technician role, ideally automotive.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and dimensional inspection techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 and quality management systems.
• Skilled in using measurement tools (micrometers, verniers); AOI/CMM experience a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and well-organised with strong attention to detail.
