A leader in electrified HGV technology is currently seeking a Product Coach. Using your knowledge of complex electromechanical component assembly, you will be an important member within a growing engineering team.


The Product Coach Duties:

  • Take an active role in the building of pre-production prototype vehicles and working closely with engineers in identifying and resolving any build issues.
  • Ensure parts & processes are designed for assembly while identifying areas for improvement.
  • Create preliminary work instruction sheets
  • Validate tooling & jigs to ensure functionality and are fit for purpose.
  • Generate / update relevant launch metrics.
  • Tracking of build phase units to ensure timely delivery to end customer.


The Successful Product Coach Will Have:

  • A strong manufacturing background with experience of production practices and of assembly processes – automotive experience is highly desirable.
  • A vocational engineering qualification (HNC, HNC, ONC, apprenticeship) is highly desirable.
  • Experience using lean manufacturing and problem-solving techniques.
  • A strong understanding of Work Instruction Sheets and experience of their generation.
  • Knowledge of PFMEA / DFA processes.
