About Illumion

Illumion is a deep-tech spin-out company from the University of Cambridge that specialises in real-time battery diagnostics using a patented optical imaging technique called charge photometry. Founded in 2022 by a team of scientists including Prof. Dame Clare Grey and Prof. Akshay Rao, the company aims to accelerate battery material research and development by letting scientists "see" inside batteries at a single-particle level.
