Our client, a British motorcycle company delivering exquisite riding experiences, is currently seeking an EE Test Engineer to join their team! The successful candidate will create, maintain, and ensure test procedures for all electrical items of the motorcycle are in place. Working with the wider team to capture requirements and identify areas for improvement.

The EE Test Engineer will:

• Work with the relevant component / EDS / software engineers on the wider team to ensure any relevant procedures are created and kept up to date based on motorcycle specifications and industry best practice.
• Create component test specifications in conjunction with the component engineers.
• Work with the electrical technician and others to ensure testing is carried out consistently, accurately, and safely.
• Own and create the whole vehicle level test procedures and ensuring these are incorporated into the generic vehicle test plan for use by the integration engineers, taking feedback on board from the wider team.
• Work with the integration engineers to ensure all testing is carried out successfully.
• Keep up to date on any current and new legislation impacting motorcycle electrical testing.

The EE Test Engineer will have:

• Experience working with electric vehicles.
• Automotive / motorcycle electrical testing experience.
• Strong experience with hardware/software/environmental / EMC testing requirements.
• Ability to create test procedures.
