A leader in electrified HGV technology is currently seeking a Senior Manager – Demand Gen Marketing.  This role will be to ensure that the quantity and quality of sales prospects feeding into the top of the sales funnel is at least sufficient and appropriate to enable the sales team to deliver the order volumes set out in the business plan from preferred customer groups.

The Senior Manager – Demand Gen Marketing Duties:

  • Manage internal and external teams including Marcoms, PR, Digital Marketing and Events management, setting appropriate goals and performance metrics
  • Primary ownership of the company’s digital platforms – driving the company’s digital presence initially to match that of benchmark competitors and then to exceed those benchmarks.
  • Oversee and own the planning and execution online and offline, above-the-line and below-the-line advertising campaigns
  • Ensure that target outcomes are achieved within the agreed budget.
  • Lead the Demand Generation Marketing team to ensure that the efforts and outputs of all the internal and external activity streams are fully aligned and mutually reinforcing
  • Collaborate with counterpart demand generation marketing teams to align strategies and actions and to share and promulgate departmental and organisational learning and best practice
  • Defining departmental KPIs that align with the overall objectives of the business, managing and reporting against those KPIs

The Successful Senior Manager – Demand Gen Marketing Will Have:

  • A minimum Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a similar Demand Generation Marketing role in a high-value, long cycle B2B environment.
  • Experienced in working with regions outside the UK.
  • Prior experience of operating in the commercial truck fleet environment
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of core marketing principles
  • Knowledge of the commercial truck fleet market and the buyers’ journey within that space
  • Strong analytical ability, able to bring focus to data-driven marketing activations
